Just make sure to cover his eyebrows and other facial hair is vasaline! Including eye lashes. Can have nasty results.

If you've not done it yet then this is how it's done in theatres and possibly filsm etc. would sugest use alginate, it's dental moulding rubber dentist use for false teeth. It's safe enough as long as you don't eat it or get it jammed up your nose.

Basically you mix the alginate powder with water and then pour it on to the face. But you have shoved some straws up said nose. Then you get some plaster bandages and put them over the alginate one is dry. It takes a short time to set.

Once the bandages are set make sure the plaster thing is sufficient hard or rather thick. don't want her fallign apart. Take it off by asking model to wiggle and contract their face and gently lift the case off. Then mix up the plaster and pout it into the face mould.

Pour in some plaster put in some hessian strips or maybe some wire carfully to give it strength. The casing has to take the weight of the plaster here too. (just strips of old cloth would do , as long as not off an egyptian mummie).

Or I could of just sent you here for pictures:o
