    Hi guys,
Just wondering about boosting my metabolism. I know theres a few different ways to do it, but would eating say a piece of fruit every hr speed up your metabolism? i know if u eat about 6 small meals a day it is good for your metabolism, but disregarding the meals, would eating a piece of fruit every hr from about 8am in the morning speed up your metabolism also? im guessing its a lot of sugar to be going into your body during the day tho...

are there any easy ways to speed up your metabolism?

Eating more often, not just pieces of fruit and exercising more will boost your metabolism.

    *Exercise (cardio or weightlifting)
    *Green tea extract
    *Muscle mass
*Eating regularly (2 1/2 to 3 hours but don't go too often or you'll out a lot of stress on body)

Gaining muscle is the quickest way to increase your metabolism, even though gaining muscle in itself is not the quickest process! ;)

Muscle is metabolically active. It uses up energy all throughout the day, whether you're exercising, relaxing or even sleeping.

A strength training program will not only help you gain muscle but will also supercharge your metabolism. Your body uses up huge amounts of energy after each workout, in its attempts to become stronger for the next workout.

    Eat regularly (every three hours).

    Eat protein at every meal.

Eat enough. Don't drop calories too low or you will wreck your metabolism.

Lift weights. And lift heavy. Don't mess about.

    Drink coffee.

    Sleep enough.

HIIT is more effective than hours of slogging away on a treadmill.

Coconut oil has a good reputation for boosting metabolism.
