Hi, im just looking for a few pointers to help me achieve the results im looking for.
Im 6"2 and weigh 13.5 stone. Im 20 if that is of any importance.

I am basically looking to lose fat, build muscle and tone up. I dont want to get huge.

I bought Promax Diet and Thermobol yesterday.
So my diet if i can stick to it will be,
    Breakfast : Promax Diet Shake.
    Snack : Apple or Banana.
    Lunch : Promax Diet Shake.
Dinner : Chicken or Tuna, Potato, Veg.
    I take 3 Thermobol daily.

Am I best off losing fat first and then trying to tone up?
And what would be the best supplement for building muscle? Im thinking Cyclone or Creatamax Extreme.

    Thanks

Can I ask a question, why are you planning to rely so heavily on supplementation? Would it not be easier (and tastier) to eat whole foods?

Might also be a good idea to give an indication of your current level of fitness.

Does it not make things alot easier with supps? Im am only going to use the supps mentioned above for 2 weeks because I split them with a friend. I dont really need to lose much fat just a few pounds. I want to get toned more than losing weight.

Im fairly fit. I do mountain biking, but over the last year my diet went to sh*t. As in never eating breakfast and lots of junk food.

And yes I have to agree with the tastier comment. Anyone have a few lunch/dinner recommendations.

    Cheers

Ill be honest. That diet is just awful. You wont build any muscle with that.
Start a new diet with real food.

Any suggestions then? Short statments like that are pointless if you dont give me some advice after.

just to suggest to you a half decent diet.....or what i see as one anyway and it's pretty easy to stick to - it's all tasty and you can eat plenty

8:00 - porridge - whack as many blueberries, raisins, raspberries, apples, mangos in here as ya want
    11:00 whey protein drink
1:15 salad chicken/tuna, lettuce, spring onions, beetroot, olives, pepper, carrot, cous cous or a slice of wheaten bread, i just throw the ingredients in a bag and cut them up in the work kitchen. I go heavy on the beetroot - beetroot is good for the liver, what does the liver do - it breaks down fat - eat smart.
    3:00 avocado
6:00 piece of meat and steamed veg
    9:00 whey protein drink

with 4 or 5 pieces of fruit during the day when you feel peckish

I'm sure it's not perfect but it does me and i don't feel like i'm missing out.

I stick either a long run, exercise bike or some rounds on the punch bag in before brekkie or some cardio/weights in after 9

Occasionally if i get peckish i'll grab a piece of chicken or cheese and munch on that.

What i'm getting at is i eat the above and to me it beats the hell out of

    Breakfast: frosties
    Lunch: sango
Dinner: carvery and a few pints

BTW if anyone has any negative feedback on the above diet please let me know

You're 6'2 and weigh 13.5 stone. You're a good weight for your height. With all those supplements first thing you're going to ask yourself in the next few weeks is "why am I putting on weight"! Personally get you metabolism up first (1-2 months) and then start with supplements. Well your 20yrs so your metabolism will be high! Oh wanting to build muscle and toning up.... can be two very different roads taken!

You should really talk to a personal trainer about what goals you should have and what is achievable.

    Oh wait a minute
"I want to get toned more than losing weight."

You should do boxing training, just train, no need to do tournaments, do it three times a week, and do yoga two times a week.
And just eat a normal diet, and you'll be very very toned in no time.

Jesus man, stop trying to be spoon fed.

Read the stickies. Compare what you're doing with what's in them.

Maximuscle have a great marketing team but do sh!t all else.

The best "supplement" is lots of food (in NON-supplement form) and heavy weights.

Agree with Hanley, man you are 20 years of age for feck sake, stop looking to be spoon fed the answers or if you are go higher a personal trainer.

What is most likely going to happen on this diet is that you will initally lose weight however you will probably put even more back on once you stop using it.

What are you talking about "spoon fed". Im new to this and am looking for advice. I was researching on my own but you come across so many different views of what is right on the net.

I thought it was quite clear what I was on about...

There's a lot of conflicting information out there. Just because it doesn't all agree doesn't make any of it "wrong". Confusing, I know.

There's many roads all leading to the same path. Personally I'm a fan of working my balls off in the gym and eating as much as I feel I need to recover outside of it. It's a highly individual thing that's taken alot of time for me to work out. And just cos it works for me doesn't mean it would work for you.

The simplest thing is to pick a plan (hell do what you had originially planned on, even if there are better ways), give it your all and see what happens. Evaluate and adjust. Try something similiar again with some minor adjustments. Over time you'll learn just perfectly what works for you.
