Dave Duggan ATR used to regularly point me in the right direction but lately he seems to have gone right off. Anyone else notice this??

Yes I agree, he used to be very good, now he rarely picks a winner.. I find the tips on www.irish-racing.com usually excellent though..

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I'd normally take what he said into consideration but not now.

I think someone needs to txt ATR especially "Get on" and tell them to feed DD whatever Spuds he was taking a few months backs. He was good when he was good but my god he is not on the turnips and my wallet is suffering.

He was never "on" the boil to begin with. Guy is a total guesser exemplified by his irrational staking plan and his low strike rate.

Like how the fcuk could anyone in their right mind who follows irish racing put up that sheepdog masquerading as a horse that is Paramount in the gpt on monday nite.

He just trots out the same lines when he puts them up on atr "he is a son of fantastic light", "x was back in second, with x back in third", "this was a highly impressive performace", because he is so uneasy on the air and wants to avoid silence.

His interview of "Sir" Michael was typical of the sycophant that he is, while when analysing a race beforehand, all he does is pass reference on his own selections and generally back track or excuse their dire subsequent runs.

Do us a favour ATR and get this plank off the air, there are far more capable guys out there than him who could do his job a whole lot better.

apparently, he tipped up a 33-1 winner last saturday

I've followed DD's recommendations for some time now and decided to track his 'best' bet each day for the past 5 weeks - i.e. I would take the higest point recommendation each day. Using level stakes and taking the SP of any winners he had, he would currently be -18.75 points since June 12th. He has tipped 8 winners from 44 selections :(

I tend to look at what he recommends each day and only go with his selection if I have come to the same conclusion myself after reading form, etc. He does have his good runs like every other pundit but I was interested to see over a period of time he was well down in points staked.

    b.t.w. I don't think I missed any days and don't recall him having a 33/1 winner recently.

Yeah he did but it was live on ATR but wasn't one of his selections on the ATR website. He must've got a whisper. He should get more whispers cos he's crap.

He was brilliant when he started a couple of years back, but I think he believes his own hype a bit too much these days. He must be riding Denis O'Regan too!
