Is there anywhere in Dublin that I could pick up a charger for the batteries we use? They are little different to the basic RC batteries so would the likes of Maplins or powercity or woodies etc carry them?

I got a couple here so feel free to drop down and borrow one until you get your own, is Shiva stocking them?

I went around town to all the usual suspects Maplins, a power tool place on Capel Street, Model Shop, a music store (cause the guy in the model shop said they may have some!) and the normal DIY places. None of them do chargers like the ones we need.

I ended up buying the Universal one from Airsoft Scotland http://www.airsoftscotland.com/acatalog/Battery_Chargers.html and its Ronseal.

Question, there was talk of reverse polarity with the AGM m4 i think it was, so just checking, this does not occur in the DE UMP?

No, the UMP has normal polarity.
I've tested them all using my own batteries with no problems.

I'll be getting batteries and chargers in the next couple of weeks. I'm talking to a UK wholesaler at the moment.

Will you be stoking the cheap small ones or will you be getting delta peak cut-offs?

ah yes the beeping...who was the complete spanner in design that thought that was a good idea...

although to be fair they are good chargers...

i would love to get a nicd li-ion and lipo charger but they seems to be rare and incredibly expensive..

actually scrub the nicd part...getting totally fed up with ni-cd..

So rather than beeping for a short bit once the battery is charged, it beeps continuously for the entire charging time?

That is madness. Sounds like the "Everythings OK alarm" that Homer invents.
