Just audio on Windows Media Player

    im sure this is in the wrong place so if appropriate mods please move.

    having just rebooted my computer i find that all the files ive got backed-up on dvd such as different TV series etc are no longer working properly on WMP, as only the audio is coming through.

    I tried downloading another version of WMP and one of Winamp but the same problem happened when they were used. this has happened before although i am not sure how i fixed it then, i had thought that i needed a new updated version but that hasnt worked.

    Anyone know what to do?

    you need to get some codecs.
    Download KLite codec pack
    or get yourself VLC media player
