LG RH177 - not reading disc

    It's not even a year old and tonight it's suddenly stopped reading disca. Was working yesterday. Wanted to record something from HDD to disc, and it's not reading and recordables. Also tried a normal dvd (movie) and not reading that either.

    I googling away as I need to fix quick if possible, but if anyone can offer some advice, it would be much appreciated. :(

    I know that on the Philips 3380 there is a simular problem, obviously there isn't a HHD on it, but it won't read the discs either. Have you tryed putting the disc in the likes of an xbox or another dvd player. If it doesn't work, it could be a bad batch of dvd's possibly. Let us know how you get on anyway.
