What's your plan for when the zombies attack?

This is something I think about quite a lot. What would I do if zombies attacked?

The apartment I rent is on the top floor, so I reckon I would gather everyone from the lower floors, get them all to move up to the top floor (with their food) and barracade the entire downstairs. People would work in shifts doing a look out.

I'd fill up baths full of drinking water, and ration everything so we could all live for a few weeks.

The only major problems I see are what we will do when we run out of food / water if the zombies are not "dead" by then. Also, what to do if our building goes on fire.

There is roof access from my apartment, so we could get onto the roof if the zombies managed to break through.

I know the ideal situation would be to be on an island somewhere, but if you had very short notice - one or two hours - what would you do?

Filling up bath tubs with water is a great idea + easy.
Well only if a Zombie attack targetted the water pipes..other wise you'd wanna be preparing for a nice long bathe for it to make sense.

As for food, i only just thought of something.
Can a 'norm' eat a Zombie?
If a Zombie bites you, you get Zombiefied, we all know that is the law of the universe. I've never seen a film were a person took a nice bite out of a zombie.
Can you cook a zombie to make it safe to eat? etc

Two nights ago I had a zombie attack dream! In the dream we barricaded a tall building and could watch them surround the house. Then some broke in and chased us around. Then I woke up. Phew.

luckilly i live on a farm, with chainsaws, crowbars, hammers, 30 seconds away, failing that there's always the tractor, what it lacks in speed it makes up in crushin power yo.

Re-inforce the windows and panels on my Dad's jeep with the paneling off my own car, then attach long spikes, barbed wire, Rozie, blades etc to the car and drive around killing everything I happen to come across and looting every store in sight.

A Shawoff Shotgun with all the bullets I can find, a few gernads for the crowds and a chainsaw in me bag.
