    Batten Down The Hatches

One day happy Next Day Sad
Sometimes I fell I'm going mad
    My modes are a changin'
    Like the sea's tide

    I'm out in the open
    No place to hide
It's time to face it head on
And put it out in the words of a song

    Chorus
Why Batten down the hatches on your troubled seas
Just go outside and grab that wheel then you'll be free

I act ok pretend all is fine
It's a battle, A war not to cross the line
Dark clouds are a liftin' with the sunshine

    I look to the future
    Leave the past behind
It's time to face it head on
And put it out in the words of a song

    Chorus
Why Batten down the hatches on your troubled seas
Just go outside and grab that wheel then you'll be free
