I had signed up cardrunners.com and paid the signup fee and then cancelled my subscription after 2 month but it appears that if i want to signup again i have to pay the signup fee of $99 again and to be honest ill only probably use it again for a month or two. Anyway seens i have to pay the full price again im considering the other 2 options PokerXFactor and Realpokertraining, anyone use them are they better or worse than card runners?

Also do the latter 2 have much low stakes vids for 50NL and 100NL?

Yeah, there all pretty much the same price, its just a pain to have to pay the $99 signup fee again after just paying it 2 months ago. I taught it was 1 time fee

I'm a member of cardrunners too and the same happened to me, I forgot to renew my subscription after my first month, so I gave them a sob story about forgetting all about it and thought it would be automatically renewed every month and they waved the sign-up fee. (It was only a few days, so I don't know whether they'd let you get away with 2 months, but you never know)

Having said that, the players cardrunners have compared to the rest is basically incomparable, green plastic, sbrugy, now jman.... would make them the obviously best choice, but I'm open to correction...

Do Cardrunners (or any of the others) do Omaha stuff as well? Being a sporadic onliner (haven't played online for over a month now) I haven't got round to investigating this fully. Also, with this downloading videos stuff, is there a limit to what you can download or can you join, and download like crazy for a month or two and get all you need?

Cardrunners do some Omaha, there's a few by stinger88 and sbrugby has 4 or 5 PLO ones too, I watched the sbrugby ones and they seemed good...

Also as for the downloading, they let you stream them so you don't need to DL lots of stuff or fill up your HD and whenever you download them before you can watch them you need to enter your username and password to watch so you really can't watch them even if you've downloaded them without being a member. Have a look at the free ones to see what they're like....

Cardrunners have some PLO ive noticed a few in the cash section but never investigated much because i dont play it. For the $25 you get unlimited access to all videos and all the site perks like forums, Q&A with the pros etc but the licence only lasts a few days on each video so even if you download 100 of them and dont renew the subscription you will be denied access to the videos then.

You can also watch the videos in streaming or download and watch it. On a side not i contacted them explaining i taught that the $99 fee was a one off and they had no problem refunded this for me:) so that was nice

I thought that'd happen alright... they seem fairly down to earth and realise the monthly fees is where the money is at....

being a cheapo, I WAS going to join for a month, download all the videos (hard drive isn't a problem) and then unregister. Is this not possible so?

It would appear not from the above. That's what I was hoping for too, but it makes more sense from their point of view to have licences and streaming and crap instead, although it is a bad thing for the cheapos among us.

It seems you cant download, but wahtching them all and recording them on camtasia(or whatever its called) might work. alot of effort though.

Again lads, we're veering off into a discussion about how to commit Copyright theft, so let's leave it at that OK...

It's definitely worth it if your going to be able to watch 20 vid's a month. The PLO stuff is good from a beginners perspective and I find that Stinger88 guy to be the most insightful in PLO and NL.
They do decent tourney stuff as well, actionjeff recorded around 20 or so vids when he was a contributor.

They do a new video every day usually each day has its genre eg SSNL, MSNL, Tourneys etc so i suppose its worth having the subscription if your into constantly learning new things but i have to say after a while of viewing a certain level the stuff becomes less helpful as obviously things become repetitive. But if your starting out learning, moving to a new level or starting to dable in a new game like Omaha this is an excellent resource and well worth the $99 + $25 even if you only use it for a month.

There is also an option to buy the videos for $9.99 per month instead of $25 per month and they come in price from anything from $4.99 to $13.99 per video depending on the level/pro but id imagine theres some type of license on that aswell that and it makes much more sense to go with the $25 per month option so much so that id doubt anyone on the site would be on that subscription as there just no value in it.

Although you can't buy the sbrugby ones like that, you have to be a member to view his ones.
