    I remember seeing one his stand-up gigs on TV. He was explaining how stingy his local chipper was, and how he was there only last night. He had just left with his fish'n'chips, when he came back in and asked yer man behind the counter if the fish he had just handed him was actually dead. The guy says, "Ya, of course it's dead, why"? Mike replied in his gruff cockney accent, "Well, it's just that it's after eating all the chips!"

    Didn't he do a great routine with Les Dawson as well..
