Got a sublet of an apartment from 3rd of Sept - 11th of Oct this year!! I'm a girl meant to be going with a gay male friend. He hasn't finalised but I've made up my mind I'm going to take the plunge and go even if he doesn't come. Anyone any experiences of this area? I figure it's quite safe as long as I don't go wandering…

Anyone any experiences of this area? I figure it's quite safe as long as I don't go wandering around after dark. If he doesn't go I'm going to treat it as a total fitness thing - jogging and swimming and getting my head together, if he does come - throw in some going out!

Anyone know any great hotspots? things to do for free? all advice welcome.
