Hand 1 is so super standard, your are being results based about this. You always get it all in here.
Hand 2, your raise is large and considering hand 1 is very bad. You have min raised with kings and raised 6 times bb with AJ, can you see how this is very easy to tell what hand you have and how easy it is to exploit.
Your flop bet is terrible, 1 into pot of 4.60 is just so super weak, it is asking for a raise, bet properly or just check.
Your shove on the turn is bad, nothing calls here that you beat.

But above all else it is absolutely vital your sort out your bet sizing and reasons for betting, you bet and raise small with big hands and bet big with marginal hands for the most part, you must stop this now above anything else and make your bet sizes the same whether you have a weak hand or strong hand otherwise you will be a big losing player.

I pretty much thought hand 2 was a disaster, playing at 8am with the baby on the lap isn't the brightest thing to do all things considered...

hi there im also playing $20nl at the mo but almost ready to move up(thinly veiled brag)

if you wanna pm me your sn il look up my stats from poker tracker on you if that helps.

    with regards the hands:

    1. I get it AI here every time you'll see TT,JJ,QQ,AK,AQ far too often.
you've got the 2nd nuts preflop loike.

you wanna be makin it 4 X BB to go as your std. raise also, builds a pot and chases out the $hite cards.

also buy in for the max each time $20 when you get a hand you wanna max the profit. if you fall short of 20 then just top up.

    2. make 4 X BB as your std. raise esp utg as you wanna control the pot size as you'll more than likely end up out of position for the remainder.

as the hand plays out i prob fold a lot here preflop after the SB reraises you.
he more than has you crushed with a big pair or AQ/AK. although you have to put in 90c to a $3.70 pot for a flop. more than the 4-1 odds you need to crack any hand.

be prepared to release this hand on the flop. as cooker says if your gonna make a bet it has to be round the 3.5-4 mark, but you wanna check the flop and fold to a bet.

phantom lord put up this great thread there not so long ago a guide to micro stakes. it basically is a scinopsiss of 2+2 and boards advice. well worth a look

Advice being taken on board, starting buying in at $20, makes sense and feels comfortable. Betting about $2 preflop if I fancy my hand, and keeping my betting uniform. Seems to work well at this level at lower levels people play very tight I find and any sort of preflop bet chases everyone away....

Been playing some $10 SnGs am prob returning $15 for my $10 on average over 10 tourneys so far, gone down 4/5 times in the heads up at the end though, clearly am doing something wrong. I think I find it difficult to adjust to the change in starting hand values when only 2 people are playing, and am misjudging it, seemed to get bullied out of blinds which were getting quite substantial towards the end.

    Tnx again,

    Inqui
