Money taken from credit card by ebay?

    I was just looking at my credit card statement online and there is a transaction for e7.19 by Ebay on July 26th, which is very strange considering I haven't used my ebay account in nearly 6 weeks. I logged into my ebay account and all is well, that's to say it hasn't been hacked. The transaction shows up on my credit card as EBAY.IE 888-749-3229 IR

    Maybe I am blind but I can't find a contact email on their website to ask wtf this is?

    Any advice is appreciated

    Did you sell anything, an their taking there fee's at end of month type of thing?

    I have only ever sold one thing and that was three or four months ago.

    Go to ebay.com. In the right top section they have Live Chat button. You can discuss your problem in real time with real person there but it looks as you have been charged for selling smth on ebay.You can check by going to My eBay, in left panel choose Seller Account and you´ll be able to see the state of your acc and previous activity.Good luck.

    Have you ever created an auction on ebay? Even if you do not sell and item you have to pay. And it can take months before they come looking for money.
