Help!!! I've a hp laserjet 1010 and theere's a very bad fading on one side of the pages of about one and a half inch.

I think it may be a blocked nozzle as the rest of the page seem fine.
But I cannot find where to clean the nozzle from the properties in the "fax and printers"

Can someone point me in the direction in cleaning the nozzle or would I have to physically take something out and wash it?

Don't know about washing it manually. Go back into Fax and Printers. Right click on your printer. For me, opening Printing Preferences gives me the option to carry out maintenance, such as nozzle cleaning and print alignment.
