    Ive missed your posts Jools!!!

This is such a cute shot and very nice indeed. I love the puddles, reflections, and lovely expressions!

If it was my shot though, I would probably try and work on that sky, for me it really takes from the shot, and trying bringing the colours up a little more, could make a real difference. But it is a really lovely shot ;)

    hey Jools,
nice image, as Katie pointed out the sky is overpowering the rest of the photograph - i presume the camera metered for the sky, fill flash comes to mind here
    :)

    :)

I used fill flash as yesterday evening's weather was pretty bad but I was concentrating on getting as many photos as possible and delivering in a short space of time about five hours.

    Is this one any better?

now that i look at the first one posted it does expose the two children pretty good, i guess what throws it is the dull foreground and middle distance contrasting sharply with the bright sky, as you say the weather was a challenge ok!
the second shot is very nice!! is it a crop? pity her gaze wasn't into the lens tho.

    well done all the same

    :)

If the guy in the air had his um-ber-ella ella ella... open, you'd have been on a winner.

I like it! Great expressions. Do you think maybe bringing up the saturation a bit might help? There are potentially great colours in the umbrella-ella-ella-ella and the wellies.
