What would *you* think?

I have a friend who I know through another forum. I've stayed at her place a couple of times when I'm in London, and been out for a drink too.

We normally communicate via PM, generally exchanging two or three a day. A couple of days ago, I sent her a PM because I knew she was thinking of moving out of her flat and would have to find another person to take over her share of the rent. I knew someone who might be interested, so I PM'd her to let her know. I also sent a PM to the other person, saying I knew where there might be somewhere coming up and if she was interested, to PM me back.
Since then, I've sent four PMs (generally 'how's it going?' stuff) to my friend, but she hasn't replied to any of them. She's been using the forum and posting on it but just seems to be ignoring me.

If you were in her position, would you be angry with me? Maybe she thinks I was poking my nose into the 'moving out' thing? I can't think of any other reason she would stop communicating with me unless I'd upset her?

I send PM's and frequently don't get replies. It happens, they may be wrapped up or busy or juts plain forgot.

I wont push it or make an issue, if they had a problem i would have hoped that they would have said something.

It may be the same with you there could be many reasons for it

    I think you're being paranoid.

A couple of days??? Seriously man, get a grip!!

Give it another couple of days and maybe she'll send a bouquet of flowers to your job.

Also, you say you've stayed in her place a couple of times? Well then surely you have her number?

You were messaging back and forth, she stopped and now you ask US why?
Sorry but only she can answer this. Anything can have caused this. Don't worry about it.

The thing is, I often have this idea that I have upset or annoyed someone if they don't answer a PM or an email or a text. I know it's irrational and I've got a lot better with it recently.
But this particular friend knows this and is generally very good at keeping in touch. Yes, her internet is working, yes I have her mobile number. But I don't want to keep sending her messages in case she thinks I'm hassling her.

But I don't want to keep sending her messages in case she thinks I'm hassling her.
Then dont. Give her a quick phone call. Keep a sense of humour about you, and ask her if she has the hump with you over your interference. If she does you can apologise! An actual phone call can clear the air quicker than 100 texts or pms.

If she doesnt pick up your call, then just leave her be, and try not to dwell on it.

I sent another PM, asking if I'd upset her but also saying that I knew she'd been busy.
She replied and it's all OK.

Thanks for the advice. I know it's a strange thing to get worried about...
