Spurs sign Danny Rose from Leeds

    Another youngster, midfielder Danny Rose arrives from Leeds. Aged just 17, he was one of three players allegedly tapped up by Chelsea that resulted in Leeds receiving compensation in the region of £5m from the small club from Fulham. Rose chose to stay on at Leeds rather than join his two fellow youth team mates as they moved to West London.

    Good stuff, looks an exciting prospect. I can't see him getting much game time this season, maybe the odd run out in the Carling Cup, but it's nice to know we have a proper left-footed left midfielder. Even if he is only 17!!
