French Trains

I'm going to be in France in a couple of weeks. Most things are covered but I find myself needing to get from Ancenis to Nantes airport on my last day. I've done a bit of rooting and have found that I can get a train from Ancenis to Nantes and then a bus to the airport. As I havent been in that area before I was wondering if any of you could give me any tips. I don't think Ancenis - Nantes is on the TGV, but do any of you know the reliability of the other trains? I have given myself plenty of time to spare but I still have an image of me stuck on a platform in the middle of Brittany all confused.

So if any of you have taken this journey, or have any anecdotes/advice about train travel in France I would appreciate it. The fact that I am travelling on my own is probably why I am a bit paranoid.

In my experience trains in France, including regional services (ie not TGV) are up there with the Germans' in terms of punctuality.

OMG so did I! Was with my numpty boyfriend at the time leaving Carcassone when he confused Barcelona with Bordeaux and roared at me to board the departing train immediately....well done, I must have uttered the expletive
f8ck on about 100 different occasions that day!!

French trains are great, and reliable. Only advice is that you have to actually physically book a seat. If you just book a ticket they will presume you want to stand.

Very reliable service. It'd probably be the SNCF you'd be getting, its the Arrow of the French train system(except one hell of a lot better). If you've left yourself plenty of time, you'll be fine, dont worry. Even trains at 2 in the morning are punctual.

all trains are part of the SNCF even the TGV. it's the rail network company. the train he'd be taking is a train corrail most probably
