    European Vacation II - October 27 & 28, 2007!
    By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer

West Staines, England - Observant fans may have noticed than when the homepage of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) was redesigned earlier this month, English and German flags were included near the bottom. What purpose did this serve? Well originally we felt we needed something more to balance the design, so they were put in as filler. But that caused unforeseen consequences, as rampant speculation on the fans' part then ensued! Backed into a corner somewhat, we opted to take the only steps we felt available at that time, and planned a second sojourn to Europe! In association with International Pro Wrestling: United Kingon and Westside Xtreme Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla presents "European Vacation II" on Saturday, 27 October 2007 in Portsmouth, England, and Sunday, 28 October 2007 in Essen, Germany!

The English half of our second European Vacation, promoted in association with IPW:UK, takes place on Saturday, 27 October at 6:30PM, at The Mountbatten Centre, located at Alexandra Park, Twyford Avenue, Portsmouth, PO2 9QA. We had considered holding an event in Wales, but "Eyrrpyaen Vyccattyaen" just didn't sound right. Already signed to appear is former PWG World Champion Joey Ryan, "The Prince of Parkland" Jack Evans, and Super Dragon! More participants will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the event are £50 for ringside seats, £30 for floor seats, and £10 for tiered benched seating. Tickets will be available for purchase on our web site, http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com, in the near future. We realize that The Mountbatten Centre is a long distance to travel for some fans hoping to experience PWG, however it is easily accessible via train or motorway. For more traveling information, please visit http://www.ipwuk.com/events/directions/mountbatten.shtml.

The second half of our second European Vacation takes place in Essen, Germany, promoted in association with WXW, takes place on Sunday, 28 October 2007 at Musik Palette, Kettwiger Str. 20 45127, Essen, Germany. We had originally planned a show in Essen, Deutschland at their Musik Palette on the same day, but another group that sounded suspiciously like PWG had already booked the building. Already signed to appear is former PWG World Champion Joey Ryan, "The Prince of Parkland" Jack Evans, and Super Dragon! More participants will be announced in the coming weeks. General Admission tickets for the event are €25. Tickets will be available for purchase on our web site, http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com, in the near future.

More participants and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks. For the latest on PWG's "European Vacation II," please visit the mini-site at: http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com/EV2

Just added! Pro Wrestling Guerrilla to make French debut!

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is proud to announce an additional date for our "European Vacation II" scheduled for late October; On Friday, 26 October 2007, PWG, in association with Queens of Chaos Wrestling, will kick off "European Vacation II" in Paris, France! PWG's debut in France will take place at Studio Jenny, located at 1 Avenue Jenny, 92000 Nanterre, with doors opening at 7:45PM and a belltime of 8:30PM. Already signed to appear is former PWG World Champion Joey Ryan, "The Prince of Parkland" Jack Evans, and Super Dragon! More participants will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the event are €35 for Front Row, €30 for Second Row, €25 for Floor Seating, and €20 for Balcony Seating. Tickets will be for sale, in English, at Queens of Chaos Wrestling (http://www.queensofchaoswrestling.com), and, in French, at France Catch (http://fsf.france-catch.com). All tickets are seated, and packages with hotels will be announced soon.

More participants and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks. For the latest on PWG's "European Vacation II," please visit the mini-site at: http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com/EV2

Also, please visit our promotional partners, QoC, IPW:UK, & WXW at http://www.queensofchaoswrestling.com, http://www.ipwuk.com, & http://www.wxw-wrestling.com, respectively.

Meh, Jack Evans is the one guy I'd love to see live but I don't think I'd bother travelling to the UK to see him unless he's part of a ROH show. This might change however if they add more names. Super Dragon would be great to see, so a few extra names and I may be tempted!

Nigel McGuinness, PAC and El Generico have been announced as well, so it's shaping up decently. I think I'll be away that weekend though anyway

There'll be no ROH shows in England til at least next year by the way, if anyone hasn't heard. PWG is the closest you'll get

PWG is a strange promotion. It has some great action but its production values are dire. If this were happening in Dublin I would make the effort, but all the way to Portsmouth is a trek, and fairly dear as well i would hazard.

Having said that, I get the impression that PWG is great live, but just doesnt come out well on DVD.

Re ROH not coming back to the UK this year is a good move IMO. Tickets are expensive, plus there is the overkill aspect of it. Had they come back in October as rumoured that would have been 3 tours (6 shows) in 15 months. Hopefully we will see them again around the time oof the 6th year festivities.

I just had a quick check, you could get the plane to London and the train to Portsmouth and back again for a little over €100. The front row seats for England are €75, but they're only €35 in France, looks like a much better deal there
