    which would be the best for hunting, winchester x or lapua subs, out of a cz varmint

    whichever preforms best out of your gun!.22 is never going to give you clean kills with a crappy shot so shot placement is key!;)

    buy a bunch of hollow point subs and see which shoots the best and stick with it.

    eley subs are highly rated by a number of folks

    Are you talking Win, super-x HPHV?
    or Win Super-x HPSS?
    I have some of the 40gr subs and the HV stuff and they both work well.
    I also have some Lapua Super club in 40gr but it is solid not HP and doesn't work as well as the HP stuff, it is more accurate however.
    My rifle is an Anchutz 1416.
    For hunting I recommend HP ammo as it hits a lot harder than the solids.
