    Hi all

My Outlook rules have stopped working recently (autoforwarding to other folders etc). They do work when I go into Tools, Rules, Run Now (manually). I was hoping I would just tick a "run automatically" type box but I cant find one

    Anyone any ideas?

    Cheers

Haha. I thought you were saying that outlook was an excellent piece of software there for a second. "OUTLOOK RULES MAN!!!!"

Sorry, I have nothing to contribute.

You need to delete them and rewrite them. Has happened to me before on a few occasions. I just delete them all and then start from scratch. Annoying but once they are done - the pain is over.

I tried loads of things to fix them. Wasted hours. Rewrite took 20 minutes. Learn from my mistakes.

Export your rules, delete them and then import them from the exported file.
It might save you recreating them...

Sometimes rules stop when you have errors in some of your other rules. Check to see if you have errors? Also do you have a lot of rules?

    Thanks Guys

Actually after I had wrote the original query I noticed I had other problems (with Calendar etc) so I figured it was something "bigger". It was on my work pc so my IT guys managed to fix it when I wasnt around (so I'm not sure exactly what they did)

Thanks for your help and sorry for wasting your time

    Cheers
