    No specific budget..

    I will use it for doing some of Programming work; emails and Internet,...etc

    15in Laptops are the best mix of cost features weigh etc. There are smaller laptops which are weigh less but they are usually more expensive.

    You could pick up a good laptop on Komplett for a few hundred

    Dell's XPS m1330 is a sweet little laptop. Nice size and good spec.
    I had a 12in vaio and upgraded to a 15in samsung. Samsung is very slim but it's still a little too big for lugging around. I'll be getting a smaller screen next time I upgrade.

    Be aware that a standard aspect 15in laptop gernerally won't fit on the table on a plane with the screen open .. 12in standard or 15in wide will

    Its not cheap but Macbook is pretty good, decent spec and light enough in my books :)
