Just bought my debs dress from http://formalgownsdirect.co.uk/ You can get their formal dresses in cocktail lengths, but there is a cocktail section seperate...the dresses are available in loads and loads of colours, and they're made to measure as well- so it'll take a month before you get it..

http://www.edressme.com/ is just brilliant, but they can be expensive, and it's American, so- duty tax stuff. I've never ordered from there though.

http://sungboutiquela.com/ My friend ordered from there once, but their shipping is just awful, the price of it.

Try find British sites using google..

    Yeah i second ASOS.com.

I got a beautiful black satin & lace dress just before xmas from there.
Delivery was within a week of placing the order.
Mind you, do check the size guide.
Cause i'm normally a size 12, but had to get a size 14.

Asos.com have lovely dresses but i bought one before christmas and the bottom of it was actually like tissue paper. It had lining underneath but when i washed it as per instructions, the shape went from the dress and the lining ended up longer than the outside.
Thats just my two cents, will prob buy off them again though.

boohoo.com is great too. Huge selection. And usually if you google 'boohoo discount code', you'll find a website somewhere that will give you a code. Type it in at the checkout and you'll get 10-20% off!
