    Hi all,
I've been trying to find out about H&H PL50 speakers but can find very little info on H&H at all. Anyone know much about these speakers?

I've never used H&H speakers. But by all accounts they are a decent brand. I was considering a pair a while back but ended up opting for Mackies that I'm not happy with. I seen H&H on Thomann, but I just did a search and came up with zero results  which is odd as that's where I'd seen them before.

Sure you're not mixing that up with H&K audio?

Nope, definitely not. These are oldish speakers, early 80s maybe, that are in an old 4x12 cabinet I have. I'm considering selling it but need to do some research on the make to help set a price. The cab itself is a bit bedraggled looking, but the speakers are in top condition so might be worth selling separately.

H&H were common enough in the 80s but I havent seen much of them them since.

I think I remember reading that HH had been taken over by Laney. They were used in Laney amps up to a few years ago. Haven't heard much about them recently, but from what I remember they were a workmanlike but uninspiring speaker. Used regularly in PA cabs. H&H also used to make amps; you might still find one in one of the rehearsal rooms.

Nothing specifically on speakers/cabs here, but you might find some mention of speakers in the individual reviews:
