I spoke to a girl from CBRE (? - the Mgmnt Co. that represents Zapi in running the retail centre. 2 interesting pieces of news:
    1. They're in the process of installing security barriers in the superquinn carpark (only out to tendor at the moment but she said hopefully they should be in in 6-8 weeks?)
    2. Theres a new chinese takeaway opening in one of the units in the retail centre, fitting it out at the moment.

Also - the road outside Superquinn and the famous green area between Superquinn and the Grove isnt part of Zapi, its owned by Wyse and so apparantly its up to them to put down yellow lines and replace that missing tree :)

We called about that missing tree!!...... we heard from Wyse that someone has already requested trees for the line of grass between the Puroga Creche and the downward slope into the carpak as apparently some of the kids from the creche come flying out and have been nearly hit by cars. Lucky the underground carpark is closed now!

I suppose it makes sense as it's s potential catastrophe for a creche to be beside a car park entrance!

She said they are looking at all options on this, but if this is the consensus amongts parents, then get ringing. She said only if they get a number of calls on this, only then will they do something!

Good thinking, we were only saying that recently to one of the members of the residents committee. Trees there would be so much nicer than a fence.

But one thing is for sure, that blocking that off for the safety of kids from the creche and the kids who play on the road is now essential.
