    Hi,
I'm specifically interested in purchasing a Canon IXUS 950 IS. I was just about to click "purchase now" on Pixmania, when I saw someone here refer to another site, www.digitalrev.com.

On Pixmania, the camera retails for €361, but on digitalrev, it is just €270 !

The catch is, the delivery charges are steep with digitalrev at €35, but the camera still works out cheaper.
Has anyone used digitalrev here before, and are they reliable? Strange how they'd be so much cheaper, hence I'm thinking there must be a catch.

pixmania is european based and digitalrev are hong kong based so dont forgot to take the possible vat and excise duty from digitalrev into account.

With Digital Rev, you are most likely to have to pay import tax. So, make sure to add that in to your calculations.

Cheers guys - Yeah I was thinking it was too good to be true... When you go to checkout, they add on the Import Duty, which brings the price well up there again!

Plus, they list items, take bids and payments for stock they don't have.

Yes, got money back less €160 exchange loss. Ordered from another ebay store last Thursday and guess what?

No sign of any response or shipping details. I have to say Albert in Kea was correct in saying that the lens I'm after is not readily avaialbe in HK.

A Dublin based shop quoted me €4400 with a lead time of 6-8 weeks.
