Think I screwed up this hand:

125 effective, (shortstack has 20 obv)

22/18/2.5, on four of my tables, has been 3betting a decent amount, i've usually had weak hands and just folded.

I've kk in the sb, ss makes it 4 utg +1, villain next to act makes it 12.

pretty sure the shortstack is gonna shove. what's my best line?

    18/15/5, 105 effective

ss limps, villains makes it 5, I call with JJ. idiot with about 40 calls in the sb.

ss shoves for 20, villain shoves.

    gambool gambool?

Hand 1: Can villain (and you) raise to the shortstacks shove.
If not, than I think you have to 4-bet. Usually with shortstacks you just want to play straight forward and isolate them cause most play the shortstack bad but if you trust your read about his shove than this looks like a great spot to get trappy, you just never know what the full stack will do.

    Hand 2: Call.

Call, and shove if/when action gets back to you preflop.

    2
For once nope! I pass almost always

Hand 1 going by your read I call and then push when it gets back around to me.
    Hand 2 I think I find a fold here

    1. Forget the shortstack possibly shoving, reraise it up to 30 odd.
    2. Calling is a losing play with JJ against a preflop raiser who tanks it for a full stack after an all in reraise from a shortstack.

we can raise if the shortstack shoves btw.

we can both raise if the shortstack shoves btw.

Is this because of the rules that are different in ireland and abroad, with regard to double the bet or double the original raise...cause the villian's raise is 8 more than the ss original raise to 4 and therefore, when the ss goes all in for 20 its a raise, if so, just limp if u think he will shove...

    it's a min raise, 4->12->20
