BT Packet Loss this evening?

I'm getting a perfect flat 13ms to boards.ie as usual, no problems at all.

    To clarity.jolt.co.uk I'm getting 15% packet loss.

Seemingly about 4/5 Battlefield 2142 servers that I try have horrendous lag despite a good ping time, which I'm going to put down to packet loss as well.

Anyone else getting this? Really pissing me off...

    Just tested my BT connection...
    PING clarity.jolt.co.uk : 56 data bytes
10 packets transmitted, 8 packets received, 20% packet loss
    round-trip min/avg/max = 23.8/28.5/50.3 ms

So looks like you're not alone. I'm not a gamer but the connection has seemed very sluggish today.

I'm on eircom, pings to clarity.jolt.co.uk are fine. Routing problem between BT and jolt then, if your ping to boards is ok. Shame there's nothing you can really do about it, likely you'll be told there's a problem with jolt.
Pinging clarity.jolt.co.uk [195.149.21.11] with 32 bytes of data:

Nah, it's happening with most UK addresses that I've tried. More than just jolt... Hopefully its sorted tomorrow before I get home craving some games.

Thats assuming BT realise there is a problem.
