Bike Storage

I'm looking to find a storage/parking spot to store my 500cc scooter for around 6 months in the Co Dublin area. Does anyone know of a dealer or storage specialist who offer this? I don't need constant access, just monthly to turn it over and make sure it's all OK. I've only found car parking spaces offered at silly money... so any advice or pointers gratefully received!

    From their website.
Please note that all motor engine machinery such as lawn mowers and strimmers must have all petrol/fuel removed prior to storage.

It'd be a pain to have to drain the oil and petrol every time you start it. Maybe look into setting the bike up for a proper long term storage if using them.

That's one of the worst things you can do to an engine.
Better to properly prepare it for storage (lots and lots of how-tos on the net, as most Yanks do this to their bikes) and then just leave it until you need to use it regularly again.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Good location, but as I've found from looking, most of these areas are asking silly prices (€120+)pm simply for making use of a car parking space - which isn't really appropriate for the space actually being used! I don't mind being as far out as Balbriggan etc if the price is right!

Agreed, but during the monthly trips I'd probably want yo use it for a day or so (rather than Luas, or whatever) so I wouldn;t really want to store it dry...
