    Hi. I'm looking into getting Broadband. Does anyone know if providers enforce a contract period?

    yes, 12 months on wireless or 3g or a bundle with adsl or cable and 6 months for dsl only ( no bundle) .

    tanx for info. so if I break that contract, do they charge me anything? or how does it work?

    Generally you're charged for the remainder of the contract in full but terms and conditions vary between operators.
