The Maxxum 5 film camera and lovely lenses I was sent about six months ago finally surfaced.. back in Texas where it was sent from:(  It was simply marked 'undeliverable'. We checked the address and everything was fine. I'm just wondering - this wouldn't have been a VAT issue or anything would it? It was marked as a gift (which it was!). Or is it just my unbelievable postage record? (Package from scotland arrived last week - almost 4 weeks from sending..).

    grrr... grrr.. etc etc.

    Marked undeliverable by whom?

Can you find out what endorsements were on the package when returned?

I can explain any An Post markings.

bummer, sounds like brilliant gift. Dont think it was VAT, they might hold it and send you a letter. Or if sent by fedex, ups etc, they'll bill you for it.

Are you sure the address is correct, once had an 'merican send me stuff and they forgot to put on 'Ireland'...... so got returned too ;) Last package they send me took 7weeks from californija to here...... was only a calender for f sake!

Sinead: Have them send it on to Nevada. It's only three states away! :D

Mark you can join the queue :)

I don't know what markings were on it, I'll try to get the info. If it was here and I just didn't get it out of incompetence I'll spit!
