    For the Munster brethren, the Courtmacsherry Sandbank Races are on sunday at 4.00pm....

    Basically, Horse Racing on the Beach/ Sand at Courtmacsherry.

    It's a beautiful spot and, if the weather holds, should provide some great shots

    Time will be dependent on Low tide but I believe it's 4.00 pm

    It was wet and drizzly all afternoon (first race was 4.00 - so rain duly arrived around 3.30).
    I was there with a family with young kids who enjoyed the races but didn't really see why there was 20 minutes between each so we only stayed for 2 races.
    There looked to be around 4 or 5 photographers on the sandbank who may or may not have got some great shots...
