V nice, should that stand not be a little more forward, wouldn't want an oooppps moment now.

i dont think so, not on harleys,
they always seem to have 90 degree sidestands.

lovelybike alright, just not sure about the blue bits stuck to the front tho.
each to their own, i prefer a more minimilaist look

It is stock so far. I am hoping to get a borekit soon. The seat is comfortable. I do not like the stand as it moves a bit when put on it, as though it is about to fall over. The exhaust is stock, and it is the easiest thing imaginable to ride. The only bugbear is that the pegs are so positions as to make manual manoeuvres like moving it back and walking to some point in traffic, is hard.

can i just ask, what are those bits on the front of the frame?
they look like vents, but im not sure.

Nice, I like the look of the night rods too.

Those vents on the front look like a Rad tidy.

    nice bike alright.

I saw a program about these on NG or discovery.
So, where is the petrol tank - not where we think it is - as there's no petrol cap there. I remember they said it was behind the engine and the "petrol tank" as such is just a cover.

    maybe I am wrong

It is under the seat with the aircleaner where the tank might be. The aircleaner/tank cover is aluminium, so no tankbag. Those blue bits are part of the radiator. It is such an easy bike to ride, though I wish it was little smoother at low speeds, though I probably need to get used to it. I am wondering if the engine needs to be run in. I might test its speed (claimed 144 mph), the Sportster did squarely 100mph, but it might ruin a new engine.
