JJ Cash hand

Just want comments on how I played this hand, as I thought I played this hand horribly. The general ability of these players were attrocious. This was from a cash game in Galway. Blinds are 1/3 NL. I have a stack of 110 or so.

I'm in SB with JJ, Button -2 and Cutoff limps.

I make it 15 to go. Button -2 and Cutoff calls. (Pot 48)

Flop was J98. 2 hearts IIRC. I bet 25. Cutoff calls. (Pot 98)

    Turn was Q. I check. Cutoff bets 25. I call. (Pot 148)

River was a blank. No flush draw complete. I check and Cutoff bets the rest of my stack which was about 50. I call.

I know I shouldn't have called the turn, as I was pot commited by the river but the villain could have had 2 pair just as much as the straight there.

You are correct to call 25 into circa 125 with 10 outs on the turn.
    You can fold this river.

The call on the turn is fine, you still have 10 outs and you're getting correct odds to call, if he even has the straight.

And yeah I agree, I think you can fold on the river.

I would've bought for 200, but most of the table only shortstacking it as well. Lol.

The bet on the flop is too small, I would bet the pot.

His turn bet is too small, you're getting good odds to call to pair the board.

Probably fold the river. You wouldn't have this decision if you'd bet the pot on the flop since you'd be committed at this point anyway. Based on the players being atrocious I don't think anyone's going to be making a fancy play on you here so I think it's certain he has a straight.

Bigger bet on the flop, you are easy money. ;)

You have played this wowfully poorly.
This flop is good for you but also dangerous and you dont have the stack to be playing games.
Personally I'd Check with the intention of CRAI - alternatively I'd bet 40.
If I checked and it was checked behind me I would be prepared to give the hand up to action when the Q arrives.

What was the 25 designed to be? A value bet?

Should have bet 50 on flop as prev said. The check on turn wasnt too bad as i say other player was on a heart draw and thought your check was weak so he fired a bullet. Again same story on river - personally i would call - you havnt much left as you only have to be right approx 25% of the time for it to be profitable. Basically after calling the turn bet you are pot-committed - you have to call.

No I thought the pot was smaller, it was half four in the morning, so my maths abilities and judgement went down the drain, should've asked dealer how big the pot was before betting.
