Getting to Amsterdam

I'm planning on going to Amsterdam for a few days in August but I'm having trouble finding decent prices on plane tickets.

I know it's peak season, but the cheapest return I could find with Aerlingus was over €300.

Is there any alternatives? Ryanair don't seem to fly to Amsterdam, do they do an outside the city alternative? Any other airlines that might be worth a look?

I was on the KLM site, but through one of those cheap flights sites. €80? Really? That's more what I was looking for alright.

Do you know how much the train from Eindhoven to Amsterdam is?

I might try pushing the dates in August back a bit and seeing if prices come down, but I fear my plans may be dashed.

KLM don't currently fly directly from Dublin to Amsterdam at the moment, only Aer Lingus do. Ryanair to Eindhoven is one option, and Easyjet from Belfast is another, depending where you are.

Yeah, was going to mention Dublin to Eindhoven, courtesy of Ryanair. Train systems in those countrys are brilliant, no doubt it'll be cheap.

It's 29,40 return and there are 4 trains per hours, 2 are direct and 2 involve a change in Utrecht

29.40 return is pretty good. Sounds like the option to go for alright.
