Deliberate rolling of forearms to open clubface on backswing

Anyone got any comments on deliberate, conscious rolling of the arms to open the clubface on the backswing. I do this and it gets a lot of comments. It is pretty tedious when people start preaching to me that I should have "dead hands" and "a one piece swing". I have been told than my swing is "lethal".

I was actually shown to do this by a pro. Basically I turn the clubface very open almost straight after I start my backswing. This is done in conjunction with a strong grip. I am a long hitter and pretty consistent and can hit my long irons (even down to the 1) well off the fairway. When playing well I hit everything with a nice draw.

Anyone got any views on what effect this has on my game/swing?

If it gets results then who cares what anyone says/thinks.

as long as you have good timing then the golf swing can't fail.

The one piece swing is taught because most people have the ability to time the ball on the club-face

Like BrianD3 said, if it works then who cares what anyone says

You really should have deader hands - anything other than a one-piece swing is lethal.

Henrik Stenson does something similar and he hits it miles. Faldo apparently gave him some stick about it commentating in America. It wouldn't work for everybody. In the end it's about timing, ball striking and confidence in your own swing.
