    Hey,

Just wanted to pick everyones brain about commercial songwriting. Has anyone any experience in this field?

Im finding it hard to get a foot hold in the publishing domain (by that I mean Im lost!) and what avenues to go down in order to get my music to those that matter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    J

Some of my bands stuff got played on 2fm and Phantom fm recently, and basically what we did was heckle the sh*t outta 2fm until they played it, not sure how Phantom got it, but i'm not complaining, any air time is good!

Also, whenever your doing gigs, try and get numbers of anyone that you get talking to for contacts that might be of use.

I think it's the commercial side of things he's looking at, selling songs for adverts, to other artists etc etc.
