Myles Byrne (Ian Woosnam's favourite caddy) was telling me that when Paul Lawrie won the Open way back when, he was in pretty much the same form as he is now, BRUTAL! He said the fact that the Open was in Carnoustie (his back garden) made him play! So, I'll be putting a few bob e/w on him, and I'll pick someone else on Friday or Saturday.

McIlroy +2 now, +5 for the day. Watching him yesterday, he seemed good off the tee, and his approaches were superb. His putting was letting him down though. He seems to rush his putts. Oh, and he looks like a munchkin, or something!
