computer stops working

hi, my computer screen seems to go blank sometimes,but only if i am working on it. If i leave it on for 5 or 6 hours its ok, then when working on it the colour on the screen seems to go crazy and after a further minute or so it crashes. I have 2 hard discs and had one of them re formatted recently. Would it be worth buying…

hi,

I have 2 hard discs and had one of them re formatted recently.
Would it be worth buying that smart register software? When i run it ,it tells me i have 500 or so faults and this could make it unstable etc...
Or could it be something to do with my graphics card?

Its sounds like either you GPU or CPU is overheating , which means that its a hardware problem and therefore no programs will be able to fix it.
