India Tour Operators

    Has anyone any experience travelling in India.
    I'm arriving in India in November for 3 weeks before i fly onwards on my round the world trip.
    I'm very interested in doing the Golden Triangle (Rajasthan) tour for about 10/14 days while i'm there.
    Is it feasible to organise this trip while i'm out there, or should i book an organised tour before i leave?

    I haven't been to India but lots of friends give rave reviews for (any) tour organised by On the Go Tours and Intrepid.
