[REQ] Cheap but decent suit?

there is a shop in the ilac called aqua. they sell cheap, decent suits. you could try louis copeland's on capel street, they are having a sale at present

I got a work suit in Penneys; about E90 for jacket, trousers and shirt. Well worth teh money. Well sut, excellent lining. Try on every part before you buy.

Marks & spencer have a pretty big range, think the cheapest is about €80. There are some washable ones too, nothing odd about them either, just look like regular suits, some have a fake upper pockets & fake cuffs.

got cheap suit jacket in roches (think its called debenhams now:rolleyes: ) in the square just yest ...was €175 reduced to €45

Marks are good for cheap reasonably decent suits. I bought one there recently for less than 100 Euro.

If you're not in a mad rush then TKMaxx can be worth a look. I got a nice Katharine Hamnett suit in there a while back for €150. Then I went to that alterations place on South Anne Street and got the trousers taken in a little (cost about €20 and took a couple of days): quality suit for under €200.

Can't beat Penneys for a cheap but decent suit. Wears well too.

Black pin-stripe - Jacket €40, Trousers €20 IIRC

Not sure if its all brances, but certainly Penneys in Blanchardstown had the jackets reduced at the weekend to €20 or €25

House of Frasier in Dundrum is an excellent place to buy a good suit, especially at the moment with the sale! 50-70% off ...

I got good quality suits there during xmas sale for 120 euro, down from almost 400

If the Debenhams sale is still on it's well worth a look. I got a John Rocha suit for around €110 last year in it - I had been looking at the exact same suit and thinking of buying it pre-sale. The price then was €400.

Cheers for this thread - decided to get a new suit just today, so might head for Dundrum on Thursday and hope to pick up something cool. How long are these summer sales on for?

Debenhams in the Jervis have Jeff Banks suits with 70% off so you get a €400 suit for €120!
