I need a new PC at home, the one I'm running now is well past it.

I was just looking through the Dell site, and came up with this spec. Is it adequate? The computer is used regularly in the house, for internet and games mostly.

Another thought I had is that on the current computer, it connects to the broadband automatically when I turn on the computer. However, the Eircom man set this up. Would it be easy to set up again?

    The Spec:

Thanks for your thoughts in advance, I am a relative novice with computers and as you can see this is my first post!

    Thanks

If your are only going to use it for games and surfing the net then it looks fime, and connecting up the broadband, it is just matter of connecting the the modem to the computer.

That will be plenty for what you use it for.

Thanks guys, I think I'll go with this so.

However if it is not too much more to get the same spec on a laptop, that may be an idea.
    The mobility would be handy
