    Hi,

I'm in the process of looking for a new job after just under 7 years with my current employer. My question is relating to references my previous employer was bought out a few years back and everyone has gone their separate ways so I have no reference from there. I can probably get customers from my previous job is that likely to be acceptable to a future employer?

    Thanks

if you explain it to them it should not be a problem OR maybe you know someone in current company you could confide in to give a reference??

If this was after 6 months it would be a different situation but 7 years shows you couldnt of been doing too much wrong!!!!
