    OK I just got my first iMAC. Its all very cool but I need advice. How do you select multipal since the ctrl work differentally. Also how do you copy videos from youtube.

    to select multiple items, hold down command (apple key) as you click them. to save youtube videos, copy the address, go to www.keepvid.com and paste it in there.

    best way to get videos from youtube onto your ipod ( i reckon ) is to watch this video and the man will tell you what to do.

    just noticed you did not mention an ipod, well thats what i do above anyway.
    Your new to mac ---- give yourself at least 6 weeks to get your head into mac. I am new to mac since xmas and i will never buy a windows computer ever again.

    No I mean apple icons in general. Say i change a icon by accident or i don't like the result is there a way to change it back.

    Well changing the icon is easy if you do it from the GetInfo pane. If you have overwritten a system icon you will need to download the set again from Apple in their Icon Download section, do a search on that page, no idea which set it is offhand.

    Then find the icon you want to put back and do whatever you did to get rid of it in the first place. ie Apple+i copy new icon and paste over the icon pic in the pane!
