Unresponsive scripts

Every time I access pages here on Boards, I get a drop down window informing me that....... "a script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can can continue to see if the script will complete" Below that are two options to click, 'CONTINUE' and 'STOP SCRIPT'

Regardless of which one I click, the same happens. The page loads and on I go. But it only happens when I'm using Camino. I rarely use Safari any more. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? Does it happen with you? Or is there a way to stop it?

I have many forum memberships, most are powered by VBulletin, but Boards is the only place it happens.

    Thank you

    Damo

I havent come across this before, and I almost exclusively use Camino. Sounds very odd.

Ref here for the same problem in Firefox, I didnt read down through it but it might be useful http://www.itchyhands.com/2006/01/07/fix-firefox-unresponsive-script-warnings

what version of camino are you using? has this just started recently are with previous versions??

    Thank you 440Hz, problem solved.

I ended up downloading the latest version after I tried the fix offered in that link. I was on Camino 1.0, and now I have 1.5. It seems no time ago since I got it, so I didn't think of looking to see if there was a new version.

The bizarre thing was, even though I found the runtime filter, it wouldn't let me right click to change the value. I've never had any difficulties with right-clicking before.

So having installed the new version, no more unresponsive script warnings.

    Thanks again

    Damo
