Travelling to toronto then on to montreal.

Have some accomodation booked for Toronto but after that was thinking of stopping off en route to Montreal and camping overnight or even camping in the vicinity of Montreal.

Does anyone have any recommendations/have done this before?

    Cheers

I did camping in british columbia in 2004 - okay it's on the oppisite side of canada from where you are but it's still canada. I did have a good time despite the constant rain, dampness, trench foot, nearly being trampled by stampeding horses at 2am and stepping in a fresh pile of horse dung just outside my tent flap the following morning.

That aside, most canadian campsites would be of a similar standard to US ones - that is they would have coin operated showers, laundrys etc. Unless it's wilderness camping you mean - you have to talk to experts on that one, like the canadian tourist board or the like.
