[urgent] where to get a usb 56k modem today

    stuck a want ad up on adverts.ie but got no reponse.
    just wondering would any of the shops in town sell a usb 56k modem?

    i dont know if theres much demand for them these days so im not sure if anywhere sells them

    You could try Marx-Computers in Fairview, just off the Malahide Road, near Graingers

    I was in there last week, and they had 56K modems in stock then ... you could be lucky!

    I've got one and if you want it you can have it.

    If you want a brand new one go into any 3 mobile store or visit their website. They have a USB modem and a Datacard. Don't mind all that gumph about it being broadband with HSDPA - they best speed you'll get out of it during daylight hours and up to the early hours will be not much better than 50Kbps.

    At last - someone who would actually enjoy using a 3 Mobile USB Modem. Must be the weather :D
