Stupid Movie Goofs!

Now we all know movies have their mistakes, from obvious to the not-so obvious ones. However there are certain insanely bad goofs in movies that can just bug you like: "How the hell was this not picked up in the editing room?"

Anywho after watching Con Air last night I completely forgot about one of the biggest goofs that has annoyed me since I saw the movie 10 years ago:

Not sure whether to put on a spoiler or not. Meh, just so I won't hear any whinging.
On the last action scene of the movie Poe (Nic Cage) handcuffs Cyruss (Malkovich) to the fire truck's ladder and then raises it. Cyruss then goes through a restraunt bridge that's above the road. You can see from one angle that as he passes through the other side you can see the truck pass by and the subsequent road beneath. BUT, suddenly he lands on a conveyer belt in a construction site where he dies (there's another goof there but I won't go into it)

A goof like that is so insanely impossible and cheap I'm suprised it was passed through!!

So, what other goofs have ye seen in a movie that really gets yer goat?

Recently the day to night bit in X-men 3 was pretty terrible... they must have spent millions on the two scenes.. .you'd think they'd be able to match them up properly.

the stormtrooper/blast door coming together from star wars - i like the classics - tis so good and so famous that even lucas did not bother to fix that for any special ed (hell he even added a comedy sound effect)

more recent i suppose is x-men 2 - the bit when nightcrawler and storm discover the children trapped below. when you first see the kids in the hole, look dead centre of the screen - there is alan cumming ready to ponce out and scare the living crap out of them, even though he is still above them in the next shot.

Where they make a big deal about Connery timing the flame shooting out from the boiler. "I sphent bloody ages timing it just right..... Or something". He rolls through....... and then opens the door for the other lads to come in. Er.... wouldn't he just have walked out that door when he was leaving?

 Hahaha!!! Oh man, why have I never picked up on that?

I can't think of too many. I'm sure everyone knows abuot the Gladiator scene where a wagon overturns and you can see steel cylinders in the back. It's just for a sec but a friend spotted them on first viewing.

The spell Tyrannosaurus and Stegosaurus wrong in Jurassic Park. Heaven only knows how they managed to spell Metriacanthosaurus flawlessly!

The bit in Gladiator where a man wanders onto the set in jeans and a leather jacket is much more entertaining! :)

The basketball scene in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" - as it pans around them, you can see the film crew very clearly in the background.

When the Angels are fighting the "Creepy Thin Man," right before Drew Barrymore lifts up Lucy Liu to spin her around and kick the thin man, to get Lucy's attention, Drew hollers out "Lucy!" even though Lucy Liu's character's name is "Alex."

Thats a good one. That's it McG!

Especially in Commando when Matrix has Sulley dangling over the cliff, you can clearly see the cable holding him up! The humanity of it all!!
