It was always going to be on the 360. I think it was even mentioned E3 2006 for the 360.

Demo.

I gave a quick shot of it last night and while the graphics it chose based on my system specs were disappointing, the interface was easy enough, and it seems similar to Company Of Heroes so far!

However now when I go to play it again (it didn't even put a shortcut on my desktop, what is this, Windows 3.1 days? ), I get a Securom error, fhgfdgfs!!

the multiplayer is pretty original. It's close to playing a battlefield game then a typical RTS.

on the demo? Meh I would say but I'm an MP guy.

Having said that they seem to have put a lot of effort into it now. With a storyline and characters etc etc.

So it's at least playable (unlike supcom which is really just MP) But from what I've seen the Single player aspect good be pretty good in the full game.

I'm just more into the auld muliplayer.

I hope the single player campaign is good,dont play games online,my laptop wont let me for some reason ,so im hoping the AI is good and pathing etc, MAN i am Really really really looking forward to this game,less then 3wks now i think...:) roll on september 21st

What a stunning game.
Im absolutely loving the demo,its by far the most fun ive ever had from an RTS.
I love the non resource gathering and micro management.

The demo seems rather unstable on my PC. Crashed twice after about 20 minutes each time. The second time it actually caused my PC to restart. Strange seeing as I was playing the ETQW demo last week for a few hours and everything was fine? Anyway it looks nice and plays well too.

Playing through the single player and I'm still impressed, nothing has changed since the demo (obviously). Well worth the buy !

The game looks very impressive and the story is great but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to the gameplay itself imo.

I mean, get reinforcements, artillery strike an area, capture point, wait for defences to build and move on. Rinse and repeat and that's basically the gamne. If it wasn't for the storyline aspect to it i'd probably have stopped playing it already (story is superb). That said nothing is quite as satisfying as carpet bombing and area filled with enemy troops.

Yes i got it this morning ,playing ever since
It is just orgasmic fun.
I always liked the idea of rts titles but was never any good and always got frustrated with resource gathering and base building.
WIC is just online RTS teamplay at its best.
It looks absolutely majestic on my average system,AMD dual core 4600,2 gig ram,7800GTX.
Im running it at 1650X1050 on 22" Samsung monitor at native res,high gfx settings and it plays excellent.
Dropping to medium settings gives about +5 fps and still looks gorgeous.
Havent touched single player yet,just been online all morning having a great time.

Yes and its pretty good too,and you can customize AI etc,they seem to work pretty well also,they nuked me and carpet bombed me.

To me its all about online play as a team.

Oh my god you are so right.
The demo has skirmish option which i played a few times,i just assumed the full game had skirmish.
I cannot believe they left it out of full game

ok so you were talking about the skirmish mode in the demo then im guessing?and not the full release ........I dunno what to make of this game,its good but its like a pervious poster said earlier....its basically call in a artillery strike,call in reinforcements,and take a point...thats it!thats all you basicaly do,no flanking of enemy no trying to get in behind the enemy nothing...im kinda disapointed with it being honest,i've been waiting for this game since I first saw it on that game channel on sky digital(can't remember the name of it for the life of me )been waiting for it all summer and this is it?is this some sorta joke?no skirmish mode?no tactical play?......now dont get me wrong it is a good game great story line to it,but i was kinda hoping there be more tactics or sumthing to it ya know?ah well....might give it a bash online later hopefully it will work (seeing as i can't seem to play any games online with my laptop for some reason ) i'll probbly never play it again after I clear the single player campign,unless i get the multiplayer working...........well thats my 2cents on the game
